Founded in 2004, Margis is today the leading company in business digitalization in Slovenia. The company continuously expands its customer base and introduces new complimentary products, with its solutions already present in more than 20 countries. Following the acquisition of majority equity stake in Margis by Adventura Investments in 2017, the company entered a new phase of development and business expansion. In line with its strategic direction, Margis successfully completed the acquisition of Imaging Systems in 2022, Slovenia’s leading software developer specializing in document scanning and legally compliant archiving of documents, audio and video recordings, and other digital data. The merger of both companies marked the beginning of a new chapter of growth for Margis. The merger brought together the expertise and extensive range of solutions that both companies had previously developed independently. Since 2024, Margis has been majority owned by Aeon Digital Group, through which Advance Capital Partners develops its IT companies.
